House in the townhouse village "Uspenskie Lesa"

The landscape of the Moscow forest set a difficult task for us to create a complicated structure for house layout. The main goal was to preserve the flora of the area during the implementation of this task. The location of the pines on the site made it possible to form a complex volume of a residential building, that consists of three blocks, separated by untouched nature, which contributed to the creation of an inner landscaped courtyard area. The entrance lobby, the children's area, the common area of the house, the intimate master bedrooms, and the cozy spa block with its homey hidden terrace create a multidimensional, modern, and functional volume enveloped in a warm, traditionally homely atmosphere. We achieved this by using of pitched roofs, highlighting the main spaces. The view of the house from the side of the road, while being not the main facade, becomes the most popular for observers, and for them, the architecture perceives from this angle. The statuesque, complex geometry of volume, expresses the idea of protection, hiding life in the house from curious eyes. And the spaces that require openness direct to the terrain interior, to the south, catching every ray of the sun, breaking through the pine trees.
